Hello! Hello! I've been out and about far too much recently and haven't been at my desk, so it's been a little while since I was last able to join in with What's On Your Work Desk Wednesday - I've been missing everyone - but, I've been back at home this week and have been enjoying the lovely light in the evenings!
I've been trying to reduce my stash of smaller scraps, so my desk is suitably covered in lots of little 'Punched' leftovers - I have stacks and stacks of hearts, butterflies, stars and circles to share out at my next scrapbooking crop. (So many, in fact, that I have a blister on my finger!)
I also have a selection of smaller scraps, which I stamp up, using some of my smaller stamps - cameras, envelopes, leaves, balloons, etc - which I'll take along to the crop to cut out while we have a cuppa and a catch up first thing. It's always nice to take something 'mindless' along!
I'm really looking forward to catching up with everyone (and seeing whether those desks have been tided - or messed up - since I last visited.) I'll see you all this evening!
Visit Stamping Ground for more information on What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.
Fun stuff there!

You have been busy! I think we all seem to end up with lots of scraps. I've been die cutting some of mine but the pile doesn't seem to be shrinking.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week

great way of using up those scraps, should tackle my collection. Happy WOYWW Vicky #12
ReplyDeleteThat's a good idea...I'll end up with a trillion shapes that no one will want knowing my luck, but will try that for sure. And the swampy thing too...great idea for a scrapbooker that stamps!
ReplyDeleteI have lots of scraps. I have a plastic clam box full of stamped images, one full of stamped sentiments, one full of pre-embossed panels, and several of printed paper scraps. Then I have plastic 12x12 drawers-one for black scraps, one for white scraps, and one for colors. That is the way I do it. Oh, and a drawer full of punched flowers and circles, etc. Now, since my room is a mess, I am making a couple of cards using some of these items! :) #52
ReplyDeletesounds like a great activity that you can still do whilst chatting and eating which is what seems to happen at every crop I've been to.... thanks for your visit. Helen #1
ReplyDeleteSounds like a lot of us are going through a clearing process with our stash. Good luck with yours and how great for the next crop.Hugs & Thanks for the visit to mine.

That's a good idea to stamp on scraps. I will do that too. I die cut some of my scraps but I hadn't thought of using those cute little stamps that we all have lying about.
ReplyDeleteHave a good week,
Thanks for visiting,
Lisca

ReplyDeleteI've punched my scraps but never thought of stamping them - thanks for the fun idea! Good to have you back again too - xo
ReplyDeleteHi Clair! Thanks for the daily stop-ins. I look forward to them. As soon as Bob is out of here (tomorrow?) I can get back to my schedule and will be 'round more. I love the idea of stamping on scraps and using them for the mindless tasks. Will have to remember that one. Creative Blessings! Kelly #40
