This month all of the challenges at the Counterfeit Kit Challenge will be based on the self set challenges that the newest members of the Master Forgers Design Team (Me, Kelly and Susan) set themselves when they 'tried out' for the team during the 'Great Master Forger Search' last August.
Challenge #1 May You Live In Pinteresting Times is based on the challenge that I set myself - base a project on something spotted on Pinterest, but with a little twist. It can't be a craft project (so no layouts, minis or mixed media as inspiration.)

My original layout idea came from this beautiful interiors shot full of cute frames and textures, which inspired this layout about Meeting Melsh for the first time. We had a *lot* of fun that day - trying, without success, to take a photograph of ourselves jumping in the air. Instead we ended up with a serious of photographs of us as we landed; looking startled; and crying with laughter!
I am really looking forward to seeing interpretations from the rest of the team and from the members of the Counterfeit Kit Challenge.
What a great interpretation - and that whoosh of little bits top right really emphasises the jumping theme, like a spray of gravel. Clever title to your post too.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful inspiration, and I can see it's influence on your layout! Great work as always!
ReplyDeleteI can definitely see how you used that home décor pin to inspire the structure and colors of your page. The neutral background sets everything off very nicely too!
ReplyDeleteLoved the one little circular element just as in the inspo.
ReplyDeleteSounds & looks like a totally FUN day!
Nice, I like the unexpected pop of red.
ReplyDeleteI struggled with this challenge although I haven't given up on it yet! I can see where the inspiration photo comes into your design so I guess I just need to work harder on interpreting the original! Cute layout of a meet up! Maybe next time I'm in the UK the two of us could get together :-)
