Snow Wonder {Flickr Favourites}

I may not be the biggest fan of winter weather, but I am happy to make an exception for snow. There's something about snow that still fills me with the wonder I had as a child and there's nothing quite like waking up to find the world covered in a brilliant blanket of pure white.

I know that I'd probably feel differently if I lived somewhere snow fall wasn't quite so uncommon, but since I don't, I'm quite content to dream of sledges, snowmen and snow boots.

  1. Mmm, snow..... :-) I remember a couple of years ago, we had about a dozen flakes on Christmas day itself and it was soooo exciting!! That's the closest to a white Christmas I've ever come lol!

  2. oh yes, there's nothing like snow for that wonderful 'little house in the big woods' feeling, and i still remember skating on the frozen sea when i was 6.

  8. Very pretty photos, the stuff we deal with here in the city doesn't look so pretty as it isn't white for very long. I wish it did. It is always so pretty at first and then its gross and dirty and a total pain in the back to shovel. I think I need to take off these grumpy pants, they are getting too comfortable.

  9. Those photos are lovely, and I agree. I'm not a winter fan, but I have finally begun to love snow. Last week I drove back up to the mountains where I go to school, and it started snowing heavily right as I stepped out of my car and it was fantastic.

  10. I love snow. :)
    We got a little bit here, but not nearly enough. It's just been cold and icey, only one day did it snow, and only like 3cm.
