Glitterati {April's Counterfeit Kit}

I'm still scrapping with my Counterfeit Kit from March, but couldn't resist playing along with the Counterfeit Kit Challenge again as the Inspiration Kit for April (The Messy Box from A Beautiful mess) is so much fun!
Initially, the black made me feel a little scared. It's not a colour that I use frequently in my scrapbooking, usually opting for softer colours. But then, I remembered a stack of black envelopes, that have been sat on my shelf for ... oh, at least two years now ... that I really should 'use or lose.'

I've added in cardstock sheets in black, orange and hot pink. I hesitate to mention exactly how long they have been in my stash. Let's just say that I bought a box full of card-making sheets when I first started crafting and I found that box at the back of a cupboard when cleaning last month. It may or may not have been incredibly dusty. *sneezes*

Inspired, I then went digging through my older stash and found some amazing sheets from American Crafts, We Are Memory Keepers, My Mind's Eye, Echo Park and Sassafras.

Then I went hunting through some more recent additions to my stash - and by recent, I mean from the last six months or so. First, there's an amazing sheet of Gold Glitter 'Foam'. I have absolutely no idea how I'll be using it, but it had to be added. There's also two packets of Hot Pink Thickers that are just uh-maz-ing!

I really wanted to add in some of the 'Pocket' elements, so went in search of some suitable journalling cards and I've included several from Sodalicious and Echo Park, along with some that I made myself from stash. Rounding off my kit, I've added in a selection of random embellishments that I thought went with the colours and 'modern feel' of the kit.

I'm hoping that I'll find some time to use all of this beautiful kit (and am desperately looking forward to popping along to my local scrapbooking club at the end of the month) but it's becoming a little difficult to squeeze everything in at the moment. I'm having fun though, so eventually, I'll have lots to scrapbook about!
If you're one of those amazing people that manages to have a busy, busy life and still scrapbook, please do tell me your secrets! x
