You Never Forget How {January's Counterfeit Kit}

Well, hello there! It's been a long, long time, but putting a counterfeit kit together is like riding a bicycle, no? I'm starting small, with the hope that I'll be able to make some simple 'Thank You' cards and start a 'One Little Word' mini-book. Nothing too complex!  < More on the word that I've chosen soon.

This month's inspiration from the Counterfeit Kit Challenge is the December Kit from Hip Kits. The overall feel of the kit was very much 'me' so I used the colours as the basis of my kit, choosing card-stock and papers in aqua, pink, grey and black, with a little hint of yellow here and there.

I wanted to echo the arrows/chevrons in the inspiration kit and found Avery Elle's 'To The Point' and Dear Lizzy's 'Hello There' stamps sets in my collection, both of which contain some amazing arrow stamps, along with some super sweet sentiments that are perfect for creating some cute cards.

To complete the kit I've added in Thickers, Sassafras and Mini Market alphas, black and white doilies, ribbons, embroidery threads and a small collection of embellishments - even managing to find some dinky, little camera charms!

See? You never forget how!
