Tickled Pink {Flickr Favourites}

My favourite shades as a teenager, even as a twenty something, were always strong, bold colours. I always felt as though lighter shades were 'washed out' and a little insipid. Yet, here I am, admitting to a fascination with shades of the palest pinks. Not a colour I ever thought I would embrace. But how could you not, when there's eye candy like this?

Tickled Pink

These are the kind of soft, romantic images that make me want to wear cute, floral dresses, picnic in the sunshine and run, barefoot, through spring meadows. Please tell me I'm not alone.

You can head on over to see more beautiful photography with Mitsy & Co, who've been rounding up their own favourites this week. And don't forget that you're also welcome to join in!

  1. That's exactly what happened to me in my Path Through Life. I love this colour and dress it it more often than I should.

  8. These are gorgeous. I've almost always loved a soft pink. It just make me feel so happy - and yes, like I'd love to picnic barefoot in a pretty dress. Rain, rain go away so that can become a reality!

  15. Oh yes, I love pink. It is unashamedly my favourite colour, along with white. This may be spurred by my need for feminitity, being part of a household of 4 males and me the only female!

    Great selection.
