A Rollercoaster Ride

It's a little obvious that it's going to take me a while to settle back into a regular blogging routine. It's been so long that I've almost forgotten what to talk about, with one exception - saying a massive, massive thank you to everyone who commented or sent me a message exclaiming joy at my return and/or relief that I wasn't rotting away somewhere, being slowly devoured by small spiders!

Despite the lack of activity here on the blog, I've been almost non-stop everywhere else! The last couple of months have been a roller-coaster ride of redundancy; finding and starting a new job; designing and developing a small set of beading tutorials; starting my own, little fledgling business and writing an overly complex business plan. Oh, and let's not forget the gardening!

The thing is, I'm starting to see that it's all been worth it! I'm happy with my new job - it's not in the least bit stressful, everyone seems lovely and it helps to pay those all important bills. My little etsy shop, Obstinate Pursuit, is finding it's feet and I was thrilled a little earlier this week, when Isabel from Heavenly Beads in Scotland ran the first class based on one of my tutorials, Star Flower. Apparently, everyone loved it! There's no better praise than that, is there? And, in the garden, I still have roses in bloom!

So, as everything starts to settle, I'm hoping to find a little bit of blogging balance - it might take a little while, but stick with me, okay? I'll make it worth your while x
