Upcycled Gift Jar {Rinea Foiled Paper}

Hello lovelies! I'm back on the Rinea Blog today. This month we've been 'Upcycling' and I have an overview of this little lovely, which I 'made-over' with some Rinea Foiled Papers and a little bit of stuff from my own stash!

Wouldn't it make a lovely, little gift? Especially if it was full of chocolates?!

Wild Hare Kits: Little Cards

While I'm busy trying to finish off my Project Life album for 2017 (the end is so very *not* near) I took a little break and made some mini cards with the little bits and bobs on my desk. Sometimes making something simple is just what I need to motivate me for more!

I'll be back to share more makes with my latest kit from the Wild Hare Kits a little later in the month! Stick around!

Perfect Presents {Rinea Foiled Paper}

Today, I'm sharing some ideas for creating 'Perfect Presents with Rinea Foiled Papers.'

I had some cute, little bags on hand, but they looked a little bit boring. I decided to add to each of them with a little bit of Rinea Foiled Paper - and don't they look classy?

I have a few more ideas, so visit the Rinea Blog for a little overview!

Wild Hare Kits: Perfect Parcels

I'm having so much fun with the latest kit from The Wild Hare Kits. I know that I say it all the time, but I really think that this one is my favourite so far - I just adore the run up to Christmas! I still have lots of the kit left, so expect to see it cropping up next month along with my December Kit!

In the meantime, let me sneak in one more make for November. These little boxes are made with my kit contents and a small little bell that I stole from the tree!

Wild Hare Kits: The Monthly Sketch

My enthusiasm for all things Christmas knows no bounds. I am *still* crafting from my 'full on holiday' kit from The Wild Hare Kits and today I'm on the Wild Hare Kits Blog sharing my take on this month's sketch (created by our very own Jess!)

As usual, I've used the sketch to create a card - and was thrilled to use some of the little star dies that I've been obsessing over recently!

Wild Hare Kits: Love This Man

This layout is one of my recent favourites (made with leftover bits from my September and October kits from The Wild Hare Kits.)

I love this man so much. He's so kind. And he never fails to make me smile. Aw.

Wild Hare Kits: December Daily Foundations

Is it a little bit nuts that I took some annual leave especially to do my December Daily foundations?

I had a happy little day at home; with my latest kit from The Wild Hare Kits, some Christmas tunes and a lot of biscuits! And it's ready! Here's a little look at the foundations for December Daily 2017.

Holiday Hanging Ornaments {Rinea Foiled Paper}

Hello! Hello! It's Clair here today, and I'm excited to show off the 'Holiday Hanging Ornaments' that I've been busy making with my Rinea Foiled Paper. I am so excited to see my twinkly lights reflected in the surface of these beautiful coloured foils!

I've chosen to work with a selection of colours that will work well with my existing decorations, but there are so many colours to choose from that I am sure there's something suitable for everyone. Visit Rinea to see the tutorial for these Holiday Hanging Ornaments.

Thank You Cards {Rinea Foiled Paper}

Since it's nearly the season of Thanksgiving, I want to share some Thank You cards that I've made with my Rinea Foiled Papers in advance, to send to friends. Of course, I should really send them as soon as I have something to be thankful for but, in the moment, I don't often have a chance.

Why not take the time now, to create a little stash of cards to have on hand? Or take the opportunity, in the season of Thanksgiving, to show a little gratitude?

Wild Hare Kits: Favourite Little Layout

Hello! Hello! I'm excited to be sharing my latest layout from my October Kit. (You can see my reveal video here - Wild Hare Kits: October Kit Reveal.) This month the DT are all working with the Petite Kits, but I still seem to have a lot of new stash! It's wonderful!

This really is one of my favourite moments from the last few months and I've created this little 6x8 layout to add into my Project Life Album for 2017. We took several, increasingly, silly selfies at the Haigh Hall Foodie Friday in June. I still can't believe how daft we all are and how much we love being daft with each other - and on camera! We had a really lovely evening!

Now, whilst I have liked all of the kits that I've received from the Wild Hare Kits, I loved this one. In fact, I am still loving it and despite the fact that I still have a lot of it left, I'm already worried about what will happen when I've used it all! I really believe that, having received a few kits now, I've worked out my own style - and what I work with most - and our curators are now able to send me kits that really hit my sweet spot!

Since I started on my kit fairly late this month (when my kit was lost somewhere in the UK!) I still have a lot to share. In the meantime, read a little bit more about how I created this layout by visiting the Wild Hare Kits Blog. The DT are over there each and every month, with more detail on all of their kits and makes. Seriously, these ladies are killing it (and I still can't believe that I am one of them!)

December Daily Foundations {Counterfeit Kit Challenge}

I've made a start on the foundations of my December Daily album for 2017. All of this has been made with my October Counterfeit Kit 'Shoreside' - which was actually based on a summer kit! Go figure?!

I love the little details that I was able to add with some mini-dies! 🎄🎅❄ I found a whole selection of them at the local craft store and swept them into my basket with wild abandon! Isn't that tree adorable?

I made a small selection of envelopes, because I love to add them into my album - with extra little notes, souvenirs, and ephemera. Some I'll add in the Pocket Pages, others I'll add in as they are, for a little bit of extra detail.

Finally, I've added a little bit of sparkle, because I don't seem able to make anything without adding a stickle or sequin! I'm now so excited to continue building the foundations of my album for 2017. December Daily is truly one of my favourite annual projects!

Wild Hare Kits: October 2017 Kit Reveal

It's finally here! My new kit from The Wild Hare Kits took a bit of a detour on it's way across the country (I like to think it had a fantastic time!) so I'm thrilled to be showing it off a little.

We all have Petite Kits this month, so I asked for items that would co-ordinate with my own stash and with some of the items from my last few kits from The Wild Hare Kits. I think I'll have lots to work with!

Autumnal Pocket Layout {Rinea Foiled Paper}

Hello, Rinea fans! :) Today, I have an Autumnal Pocket Layout to share that makes the most of the beautiful metallics available from Rinea. These really are some of my favourite colours of the Rinea Foiled Papers, because they are so, so versatile!

In one section of the Pocket Layout, I've combined some small, circles of the three metallic sheets with some smaller sequins in a selection of autumnal colours. The double-sided Rinea Foiled Papers are fantastic for Pocket Layouts as the colours can be matched easily to the materials used on both sides of the Pocket Layout!

On the other side of the Pocket Layout, I used a combination of die-cut letters in Copper/Copper Glossy Foiled Paper and Gold/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper.

You can see how well the metallics work within the overall Pocket Layout - and match some of the metallic elements that I've included from my own stash!

Swallows & Amazons Layout {Swedish House Crafts}

Hello! Hello! I'm thrilled that, after Guest Designing for Swedish House Crafts last month, I've been asked to join the Design Team! (How cool is that?) So, this morning, I have a soft, little layout to share with you, using some of my favourite items from the store! It's all so lovely!

The colours of the Maja Design, Sofiero, Limited Edition, Complete Collection are so beautiful and I wanted to make the most of the soft, delicate florals by 'showcasing' them in a little layout. I'm normally a little nervous about adding text directly onto cardstock (in case I make a mistake!) so I added my journalling onto some Crafter's Companion Printable Vellum Paper.

I then cut the vellum down to size and layered it onto the cardstock. I left a little bit of the cardstock on show, but the vellum adds a lovely softness to the overall look. I love it!

Once I'd added the vellum, I used a small doily from my own stash, layered underneath my theatre tickets as the central element. To add detail, I raided my Swedish House Crafts stash and added some leaves cut with the Gummiapan Die Set - Twig Rounded underneath some Coral Pink/Primrose Paper Flowers and Vintage White Paper Flowers.

For a little more detail, I used the Gummiapan Die - Twig, Rounded Large to make some slightly larger leaves, to add the bottom of the central element. These dies are so versatile (and I'm not biased, they really are amazing!)

Now, can a recommend a little visit to the Swedish House Crafts Blog? There's so much to see!

Wild Hare Kits: Meet Clair

Hey! Hey! Today, there's a little 'Meet Clair' feature on The Wild Hare Kits Blog where I share a little bit about me; my style; and, of course, how much I loved my first kit!

I wanted to document that love a little in my Project Life album, so created a title section for August with some of my favourite bits from this month's kit! Look at those sequins! *swoon*

Romantic Altered Matchbox {Swedish House Crafts}

It's time for me to share the first of my Design Team makes for Swedish House Crafts - and I could not be more thrilled! I could not have been happier with the selection of new (to me) collections that I received to work with - lots of romantic colours and textures; new and interesting stamps; amazing dies and some really lovely embellishments!

Swedish House Crafts are UK based, so if Gummiapan, Magnolia Stamps, Maja Design, Pion Design, Reprint and Roxstamps are all new to you, then it's well worth a visit!

The first make I have to share is this cute, little 'Romantic Altered Matchbox'. I used to make these little lovelies *all* of the time, but I haven't made one for so, so long!

The base of the matchbox is covered in one of the small florals from the Maja Design, Sofiero, Limited Edition Collection (shown below.) You can see that I've also used the same floral to cover the inside of the drawer. It's so soft and delicate. I'll be so sad when I have used it all!

Once the base was covered, I started to add embellishments - the best bit! I used more of the Maja Design, Sofiero, Limited Edition Collection with a Gummiapan Die (Rounded Large Twig) to make some leaves, then added a few hand-cut and coloured leaves to add a little depth.

I added some of my own handmade linen and lace flower embellishments, then tucked in some beautiful Coral Pink/Primrose Paper Flowers and Vintage White Paper Flowers to add a little colour.

To finish, I used more of the Maja Design, Sofiero, Limited Edition Collection to make a butterfly embellishment and added a Large Round Brad to the drawer for effect!

I'm so happy to have re-kindled an old love - and I'm sure that I'll share more matchboxes! In the meantime, head on over to the Swedish House Crafts Blog for more inspiration from the Design Team!

Wild Hare Kits: You Can Order Now! Yay!

Receiving my Wild Hare Kit this month renewed my motivation and I've been busy making. I'm ridiculously happy with how the kit colours seem to match the colours of my life so well. Isn't that amazing? The kits are GENIUS and I have had the best weekend, scrapping away with a chilled out soundtrack.

I have a lot to share, but let's start with this little 6x8 layout because the colours, stitching and super cute embellishments are making me swoon.

The best news is that you can now order your very own hand curated kit. Just complete a Style Profile. Go on. You know you want to!!!

Wild Hare Kits: My First Kit Has Arrived!

Earlier this week, I received my first Design Team kit from The Wild Hare Kits - and it is amazing! Each Wild Hare Kit is customised to fit each subscriber's own tastes and I can honestly say that Alison collated such a fantastic kit for me - I'm not sure I could have done better myself! Customers complete a Style Profile, choose a kit size (Petite or Deluxe) and a customised kit is created, as if by magic!

You can make amendments to the Style Profile at any time and there's no monthly commitment, so it's really flexible!

You'll be able to order from the Wild Hare Kits in September - when we officially launch - but in the meantime, check out my reveal to see how the customisation works!!!
